Beef stroganoff with Campbell’s Condensed

Serves: 4 people
Prep time:



  • 1 tbs oil
  • 500g beef strips
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 200g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 x 420g can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Condensed Soup
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • Pasta & fresh parsley to serve


  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over high heat. Add beef strips & cook until browned. Remove & set aside. Add onion, mushrooms & cook for 5 mins or until softened. Add paprika & cook for 1 min.
  2. Return beef to pan. Add Campbell’s Soup & tomato paste, stir. Bring to boil, reduce heat to medium-low & simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 30 mins or until meat is tender.
  3. Stir in sour cream just before serving.  Serve with cooked pasta & fresh parsley.
