Beef Stroganoff

Method

  • Heat oil in large frying pan over high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove & set aside.
  • Add onion and cook 2-3 minutes or until soft. Add paprika and cook for 1 minute.
  • Return beef to pan. Stir in soup, tomato paste and  mushrooms, mix well. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Just before serving, stir in sour cream and cook until heated through. Serve with cooked pasta, rice or mashed potato, if desired.

500g rump steak, cut into strips 
1 medium onion, finely chopped 
1 tsp paprika
1 x 420g can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Condensed Soup
1 tbsp tomato paste
200g button mushrooms, sliced
1/3 cup light sour cream
