Mushroom sauce

Serves: 4 people
Prep time:



  • 10 g butter
    50 g sliced button mushrooms
    250ml (1 cup) Campbell’s Real Stock – Chicken
    2 tsp of corn flour and 2 tsp of water
    2 tsp of chopped fresh chives
    Cracked black pepper


  1. Melt butter in a medium sized saucepan then add mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms soften. Add in Campbell’s Real Stock and stir simmer for 10 mins.
  2. Add in corn flour to the Stock the corn flour should be mixed with water and stir to thicken (2mins).
  3. Stir in chopped chives (1 min) and season with cracked black pepper. Serve on top of your favourite cut of meat.
