Tasty hamburgers

Serves: 4 people

  • 250ml (1 cup) Campbell's Real Stock - Beef
  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely grated carrot
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 4-6 hamburger buns
  • 4-6 slices cheese
  • 1-2 tomatoes, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves


  1. Place stock, mince, onion, carrot, egg, breadcrumbs and oregano in a large bowl and mix well. Divide mixture into 4-6 equal portions and form into burgers.
  2. In a non-stick frying pan, or on a barbecue plate, cook burgers for 5 minutes each side to brown all the way through or until cooked to your liking.
  3. Serve in hamburger buns topped with cheese, tomato, lettuce and your favourite sauce or mayonnaise.
